Wow, it's been a long time!

Hi everyone, wow it's been such a long time since I've blogged. I kind of got burned out and then so much stuff has happened in my life that I just didn't have time to design or blog.

One of the things that's changed since I last blogged is that Bella decided to homeschool again. We homeschooled for 5th grade and she wanted to go back to public school for 6th grade to be with her friends in middle school. She was so bored all year long, the work wasn't very challenging and the only thing she liked about it was having classes with a couple of her friends. So she decided to homeschool again this year for 7th grade and not ever go back to public school. I love homeschooling her, it takes a lot of my free time, but it's worth it.

I've been sitting on a ton of half finished kits and designs and decided to try to get some packaged up and get them on here. I don't have time to design that much and it takes a lot of time just to get what all I do have done made into previews and all the files together, named, zipped and uploaded. I got one kit done today and most of the stuff uploaded. I'll try to have something for you to download everyday for the next week or so.

So without further rambling from me, here is all the previews for my new kit "Gone Camping":

Well, I am still stuck in a rut, I've lost my designer mojoe and can't seem to find it. I'm going to take a break from even trying this weekend and see if that helps. I'm frustrated and sad, designing usually relaxes me and is something I enjoy doing. Now every time I open up photoshop, I wind up tense and frustrated.

I do have a freebie for you today. I made a quick page out of a layout I did a while back and was going to build a kit around it, but never got around to it. I figure I'll never get around to it seeing as how I've got a ton of half done kits already sitting around on my hard drive. I've also included the patterned paper I used, so you can use it in your own layouts.

Designer Burnout??

I don't know what's wrong with me lately, but I can't design anything that I like. I've got multiple kits going, but can't finish one. I've been working many hours over the last couple of days to try and get one finished and I'm not satisfied with anything that I've designed. I've deleted several hundred megabites worth of designs tonight in frustration. :(

Anyway, I do have some good news to share with you all. My son and his girlfriend found out that they are having a little boy :) I can't wait until my grandson gets here, it's been a long time since I've had a little baby boy to spoil. They haven't picked out a name yet, he's not due until December so they still have a while.

I have a small freebie for you today. A stacked paper page I made using my America kit. Hopefully I'll get out of this design rut soon and have something new for you.

I'm back...

I had a great week of relaxing and doing nothing last week :) Bella and her Daddy spent some quality time together, they went to the zoo one day, and spent a day hanging out by the pool together. I stayed home where it's nice and cool, I can't stand this heat wave were having. You walk outside and you can feel your skin start to burn, and it's hard to breath.

We have spent the past few days redoing Bella's bedroom. Her bed literally broke the other day, it was one of those platform beds that has drawers under it and she broke the platform jumping on it.. she says she fell but I know she jumped on it..she dances and jumps on her bed all the time. She has had that bed since she was 5 or 6 so it was time for a new one anyway. We bought her a loft bed, it's a cool bed, the bed is up in the air like a bunk bed, with a desk, shelves, and storage on the bottom. She has a tiny room so this type of bed was perfect. We got rid of her old desk, put her dresser in her closet, and now her room looks twice as big. She has plenty of room to dance around and lots of extra space.

I haven't finished a new kit yet, but I'm working on it. I hope to have something soon, but until then I have a quick page I made using my America kit for you. I had made a bunch of quick pages for this kit, but lost all of them when photoshop crashed while I was saving them. This is the only one that survived..

America Alpha

Today I have the last piece of my America kit for you. I have no idea what I'll have for you next. I have a few things in the works, but I'm having a hard time getting motivated to create in photoshop. I'm taking the next week off to be with my hubby while he's on vacation so hopefully if I stay off the computer for a while I'll be able to get back into the groove and finish one of the many kits I'm working on.

I just noticed that I forgot to change the tag on the alpha preview when I was making it..lol, oh well you can tell its an alpha so I'm not going to make another preview.

America Elements Set 3

I had a wonderful Birthday yesterday. Thanks to all of you that left Birthday wishes:) I woke up and came into the living room and Bella had made me a birthday banner, she's such a sweetheart. Then, Bella and I went out to eat last night and I ate a huge steak, 3 kinds of shrimp, and a big slice of chocolate lava cake. Bella and her daddy surprised me with Godiva chocolate, an awesome smelling candle and 2 cards. I had told them not to get me anything since I spent a small fortune at Bath and Body Works last week. I have the sweetest family:)
I did a quick layout today of my gifts and the card Bella gave me, I thought I'd share it with you.

Next week my hubby is on vacation so I'm taking the week off with him. We're not going anywhere, but we are going to spend some quality time with Bella before she goes back to school in a few weeks. My son is spending the weekend here while his girlfriend is out of town, so I'm looking forward to spending some time with him too:)

Today I have the last set of elements in my America kit. I'll post the alpha tomorrow, then I'm on vacation for the next week. Hopefully I can get another kit finished this weekend and have something for you when I'm back.

America Elements Set 2

Tomorrow is my birthday:) I really don't like getting older.. lol. I try to forget how old I am, but someone always reminds me. The other day I was thinking that I'm 36, about to be 37, but Bella says, "Mommy, you are 37 about to be 38", thanks Bella. See, I'm already showing signs of old age..lol. I'm a whole year older than I thought I was, I quit keeping up with it a long time ago:)

Happy 4th of July!!

I had an awesome time tonight. We went to our local park and enjoyed good music and an awesome display of fireworks. My son and his girlfriend went with us and I was happy to spend some time with them. I don't get to see my son too much since he moved out a few months ago, he's always working. They find out July 18 what their baby is going to be. Everyone thinks it's a girl, except for my son, he says it's a boy. I can't wait to know so I can start shopping for my first grand-baby. I'm going to spoil him or her rotten, then send it home to it's poppa :)

How was your holiday weekend? Thankfully it was actually cool outside tonight. The temperature dropped about 15 degrees this afternoon, it hasn't been that cool outside since February. I was dreading having to sit in the heat, but it wasn't hot at all after 5pm.

Today I have the first set of elements for my America kit. I took lots of pictures tonight and I hope I'll have some time this week play with this kit and get some pictures scrapped.

New Kit "America"

Yesterday Bella and I actually managed to get up early, 9am instead our regular time of 1 or 2pm. We spent the day shopping and hanging out at the mall. We had a great time. Bella got these fake, clip on rings that make it look like you have a piercing (eyebrow, lip, belly button, whatever). She faked her friends out by clipping one of them to her lip..lol, one of her friends came over today and was like " I love Bella's lip piercing". I have no idea why the girls are so crazy about piercing things these days, but her friends all want to get them.. And these are all "good" girls from nice families. I told Bella that was as close to piercing anything she's going to get until she's 18, hopefully by then she'll see that they aren't "cool" at all.

I stopped by Bath & Body works and stocked up, they had an awesome sale and was giving out coupons so I went a little crazy. I'm stocked up for a while, at least until the next sale.

Before we left the mall we stopped by the photo booth and took some funny pictures together. I love those photo booth machines, every time we see one we have to stop and take pictures:)

New Kit Preview

I had a good Sunday with the family. We went to the flea market and looked around, thankfully it's an indoor market, because it was so hot outside you could fry an egg on the side walk.

I got the previews made for my new kit. It's a 4th of July themed kit that I named "America". There are a ton of papers and elements in this kit. I added a few elements from last years 4th of July kit. I started working on some quick pages to go with it today and when I went to save them, photoshop froze up on me and I lost all of them except one :( I don't know if I'm going to go back and re-do them, I worked so hard for a couple hours today and then lost all that work. It's frustrating as hell when something like that happens.

Yesterday afternoon Bella and I got bored so we decided to go shopping, our favorite thing to do:) We found a couple of good deals, I bought Bella a pair a capri jeans and a shirt at Aeropostale for only $20. In the past year she's got to where she only wants clothes from there so I'm always on the look out for a good deal. The pants were regularly $44.50 and the shirt was regularly $24. Of course they only had one pair of capri's in her size since they were on sale. Then we stopped by Old Navy to look around and they had the shirts we bought for her Daddy for Father's Day on sale for only $8 so we grabbed him another one. I didn't find anything for myself, but I had fun just looking around.

On the way home, Bella wanted to stop by the Red Box machine because they have video game rentals now and it's only $2 a night. Bella picked Just Dance 2, and we came home and she spent the next 2 hours dancing her booty off. Her Daddy came home from work and started dancing with her..lol. It was so funny watching them dance and get into the game. I'm on the look out for a deal on the game now, I've got to get it for her, just for the entertainment factor :)

one of the many kits I'm working on by sometime next week. I'm having the hardest time

getting anything finished.

Today was a dreary, wet, rainy day here. I woke up this morning to thunder, looked outside and the sky was black and the wind was roaring. Bella was at a friends house so I called to check on her and she had just woke up too. I asked her if she wanted to stay or wanted me to come get her, she hates storms so she wanted to come home. It rained off and on for most of the day. Rainy days makes me lazy, I didn't get nothing done today.

I hope you all had a great day yesterday spending time with your Father's and family. We had great day together, just hanging out as a family. Bella's Daddy loved his gifts, he got 2 shirts, 3 photo cards that Bella and I made for him (the 4x6 qp's that's in this kit), and a cute bobble head bear wearing a shirt and jeans and on the shirt it says #1 dad or something like that.

I spent today extracting sea shells out of some photo's for a kit that may or may not ever get finished. I have so many kits I'm working on, but I can't sit down and design a whole kit at a time. I go in bits and pieces, I'll work on one for a little while and then work on another, or start another one. I think I have ADD, maybe that's where my son gets it from. Anyway, extracting sea shells is a tedious job, especially when they on a sandy background. Being a perfectionist it took me about 3 hours to extract a hand full of shells.

New Kit "My Daddy"

I had another great day shopping with Bella:) We finally found something to buy her Daddy for Father's Day. We bought him some shirts at Old Navy. Bella picked out a few "cool" shirts for him. I bought me a new pair of capri's, I've lost 25 pounds over the last few months so I needed them :)

Bella is off spending the night with a friend, she was home 2 days in a row, so she was ready to go again..lol. She's just down the road so she didn't go far.

I finally got enough time to dye my hair today. I had about 3 inches of gray roots showing.. I'm only 36, but my kids have driven me to early graydom..lol. I hate dying my hair, it's a chore and takes forever, but I got tired of hearing Bella tell me I need to dye it. I tried a new hair dye, Loreal Sublime Mousse, I like that its a foam and that you don't have to spend forever parting your hair into sections and then making sure to cover all your roots first and then the rest of your hair. With this you just pump the foam into your hand and put it into your hair like you do shampoo. This cut about 30 minutes off the time it takes to get it done. The color came out good and my hair feels really soft :) So now I'm good for another month or so.

Bella and I had a great time together today:) We went shopping but didn't find anything to get her Daddy for Father's Day. The thing she had wanted to get him were all gone, and we looked through the entire store and couldn't find a single thing that she wanted to get him. Oh well, now we have an excuse to go shopping again tomorrow:) Men are so hard to buy for, my hubby has everything he needs or would want, can't even get him power tools because he has all of them. I am sure Bella will find something, she always does.

I spent most of yesterday cleaning and doing laundry. I really hate laundry, not so much the washing and drying part, but the folding and putting up part I despise. If it was up to me, I'd probably just have piles of clean clothes somewhere and grab what I need from it. I do make Bella fold and put up her own clothes, so that helps but I still hate folding and putting up clothes.

Today Bella and I are going shopping so she can pick her Daddy out something for Father's Day. There's this trophy she saw at Target that was filled with tools that she wants to get. I hope they still have it. We went to the Target closest to us the other day and they were all gone, so we're going to the other Target a few miles down the road and see if they have it. (That's how one of the elements in my new kit came from, funny how you get inspired from seeing stuff like that in a store.) Then we are going to have a mother-daughter lunch and spend some time together. She's always gone to one friend or another's house, so we need to spend some time just hanging out together. She's growing up so fast, soon she'll have no interest in spending any time with me.

I've had a nice quiet day today. Got the books I received read, yeah I can read 2 books in a day..lol, like I said before, insomnia has it's advantages:)

Anyway, not much going on right now. I'm kinda burned out designing so I'm taking a couple days to regroup. I have a couple kits that are thisclose to being complete, I just can't seem to finish them. I also have several kits in various states of design, from just started to half way there, and a ton of ideas wrote down.

Sunday's Freebie and Preview

I slept most of the day today, feels good to get more than a couple hours sleep. Now that my batteries are recharged I'll probably be up the next 2 days..lol.

I think I'm going to spend the rest of the day reading. I love reading books, I rather read a book than watch a movie. I'm on a few book review panels, so I get free books sometimes to read and review. Yesterday I got 2 new books in the mail to review so I'm going to shut down Photoshop and read them.

Bella is spending the day with her big brother, he just came and picked her up and they are going shopping and out to eat. Then I think she's going to spend the night with her best friend again, IF she gets her chores done in time.

My next kit is called "My Daddy". This kit came from Bella and I making her Daddy some Fathers Day cards. Around here we call her Daddy "Mr. Fix-it", because he is always fixing something..lol. He's an awesome Hubby and Daddy and whenever we mess something up, we know Daddy can fix it :)

This past week has flown by, I can't believe it's Saturday already. I got a lot of designing done this past week, insomnia is a b@tch , but it has it's advantages. I'm getting a little more sleep than I was before school was out, I sleep about 4 hours a day, mostly during the day..lol. Bella is a night owl like me, so she stays up pretty late and wakes up about the same time as I do every day.

I finished up another kit tonight. This one is a Daddy themed kit, perfect for those Fathers Day pictures. I'm still working on a few things for it, but the kit is done and should be ready some time next week for download. I'll upload previews of it tomorrow.

I want to thank all of you for the kind words and emails I've gotten about my Cowboy Grunge kit, I'm so glad that so many people like it, it's gotten over 200 downloads for each part :)

Hey everyone. Finally have some time to talk..lol. I've been so busy the past couple of days, it feels good to just be able to take a minute to blog.

Bella has been having a blast since school let out. She's been gone most of the time, spending the night with friends just about every night. There is always someone calling and inviting her to go do something. I wish I was still young and carefree like her :)

How is the weather where you live? Here it is HOT, high 90's every day. It wouldn't be so bad if the humidity level wasn't so high. You can't walk from the house to the car without breaking out in a sticky sweat. Every time I leave the house and come back home, I feel like I need a shower. I'm not looking forward to July and August, I think I'll just stay inside and not leave the house those 2 months..lol.

Cowboy Grunge Alpha

First of all, a big thank you to all of you that take the time to leave me a comment. I appreciate it, and try to reply to each of you. I don't have much time to do so on the weekends, so I just wanted to say thanks on here real quick. The few people who take the time to leave me a comment or just click on the thanks button is what makes it worth all the time and effort it takes to do this. Much ♥ to you all.

Today I have the first alpha that I made for this kit. Alpha's are a pain in the butt to make, and take lots of time. That's why I don't make them that often. I usually just make what I need to use in my personal layouts, but this time I decided to make 2 since I liked them and I had insomnia..lol. This one just has the upper case letters and I think brackets, no numbers or anything.

Hot Friday

Gosh it's so hot here today. 98 degrees and it's only June. What happened to Spring? It went from freezing cold to hot, no mild days, just either too cold or too hot. The air conditioner is running nonstop, if it goes off for a few minutes, the house heats up. I hate to see what my light bill is going to look like.

Anyway, today was one hot day here. So hot outside that you couldn't breath. I went to Wal-Mart today and they didn't have the air on, so it was like shopping in hell. The poor cashiers looked like they were about to pass out. I asked the cashier about it being so hot, and she told me that they barely turn the air on so it's always really hot in the summer. I will be shopping somewhere else then, it makes no sense for them to keep it so hot in there when it's 90 degrees outside. I rather pay a few cents more and shop somewhere where it's cool inside.

I finally received my replacement pen for my Bamboo tablet today :) I can't believe I lost the other one, we never did find it. I missed not being able to design with it, it is so much better than using the mouse to draw with. Hopefully now I'll be able to finish up some stuff I've been working on.

Terrific Tuesday

I've been so busy today. I have a thousand things to do and not enough time to get it all done. I went and picked Bella's report card up today. She made honor roll, 3 A's and 3 B's, I'm so proud of her :)

It's been one of those days..

I should have just stayed in bed today. I've had a horrible day today. It's been one of those days where everything goes wrong. The worse was that I've somehow lost the pen that goes to my brand new, only a week old Bamboo Tablet. I have no idea where it went to. I was using it when Bella screamed because there was a spider in her room. I got up and went and killed the spider, then put some laundry on and did a few other things. I sat back down at the computer and my pen had vanished. I've searched the whole house top to bottom several times. My hubby came home from work and searched the whole house, and even took the covering off the bottom of the couches, moved and looked up under every piece of furniture, went through the trash, every single place has been searched. I guess the ghost got it.. So now I have to wait up to 2 weeks for a replacement pen from Wacom and had to shell out $35 for a new one.

Anyway, I didn't get much done today design wise. Photoshop is running slow for some reason, and I lost my pen so I'm beyond frustrated.

I'm hoping to have my new kit uploaded in the next couple days. See yesterday's post for a sneak peek.

So somehow I screwed my blog background up and can't figure out how to fix it. Sorry that it's messed up! I've worked for hours now trying to get it back like it was, to no avail. I'm using the same settings and everything. I've tried everything I know how to, and can't get it fixed. Even my dashboard is messed up, everything is so tiny I have to zoom my page all the way in to just be able to see how to type this. Anyway, I give up for now. It's 5am and I need to go to bed!

I have some exciting things coming soon. I've been busy designing so many different things. One of the good things about never sleeping is that I design when I can't sleep. I've been spending up to 14 hours a day designing and planning different things. I have a whole notebook full of ideas and to do lists. I've also been working feverishly to learn my new vector program. I went with Xara Designer Pro 6 instead of Adobe Illustrator because of it's ease of use and it's ability to use so many different program file types. I am in love with vector based drawing. It makes even my elementary drawing skills look good :) I still don't know a lot about vectors but I'm the type that likes to figure it out through trial and error. That's how I learned Photoshop.

Today I finished a new kit I've been working on forever. I'm so proud of this kit. Here's a little peek at this HUGE kit I'll have for you soon. There is a lot of different parts, 2 paper packs, 2 word art packs, a ton of elements, frames, 2 alpha packs, amd quick pages.

Sunday Storms..

Well it's Sunday and I had plans to go to the mall today, but it's storming outside. Guess we'll have to wait until some time next week.

Bella went to a pool party yesterday and left her sunscreen at her friends house, so she came home looking like a lobster. Poor thing is burnt to a crisp. She said she applied sunscreen before they left and then forgot to put it in her bag. I bought some sunburn gel, but it's not helping much.

I've been working on several different kits and I think I'm close to being done with a couple of them. Today I have another quick page for you that I made using the Elegant Reds kit I gave you last week.

I'm so glad that the weekend is finally here. Bella is out of school and summer has started :) 10 weeks of sleeping late and spending time with my girl. Well, I hope to spend time with her anyway.. As soon as she walked in the house today the phone started ringing with invites from friends. She's at a sleepover now, and has plans to go a pool party this afternoon. We have plans to go shopping at the mall sometime this weekend, we both love shopping and she's not at the stage yet that it's uncool to hang out with her mom :)

Ahh..Friday is finally here again. Today is Bella's last day of school. That means I don't have to get up early anymore, I can sleep the day away if I want. After finally getting some sleep the other night, I'm back to not being able to sleep again. I didn't go to sleep Wednesday night until 4:30 Thursday morning. Here it is Friday morning and I'm wide awake after only getting a couple hours sleep last night.

Oh well, just have to get through today and I'll be ok. Hopefully I'll be able to go to sleep soon. I figured since I wasn't sleeping I'd get on here and post the next quick page I have for you.

10 Hours:)

Yep, I actually got 10 hours of sleep last night. I passed out around 8 pm and didn't wake up until 6am this morning! That's the most I've slept in weeks. I was laying in bed watching TV with my hubby and Bella last night and the next thing I know it's 6am. I really needed that, I've been walking around in a fog for the last couple weeks.

Bella gets out of school Friday. She doesn't have to take but one final exam, and she's done. Her grades are so good she doesn't have to take the others. She was only 3 points away from not having to take any of them. So she doesn't even have to go the last week of school. She's really happy about that! I'm so proud of her :) I can't believe she's going to be in the 7th grade next year. She is growing up way too fast.

She has volleyball tryouts tomorrow afternoon. She's so excited, she's been wanting to participate in all kinds of stuff this year but you have to be in 7th grade to participate in anything. On her list of things to do next year: volleyball, yearbook staff, office helper, and I can't remember the rest.. She wanted to try out for Cheer, she used to be a cheerleader when we lived in Ga. , but it costs a fortune here so we were unable to do that.

I'm loving my new Bamboo tablet. It's so much fun to use. I'm getting pretty good with it, and it's really helping with my designing, and it's so much faster than using a mouse. I love the handwriting recognition feature, and the short cut buttons on the pen and side of the tablet. I have them programed to my most used commands in Photoshop and I rarely use my keyboard anymore. The only downside is my hand is cramping up from holding the pen.

Elegant Reds

I have a small kit I put together for you today. I am horrible at naming kits, all I could come up with was "Elegant Reds" for this one. There are 4 papers and some frames and a few elements. I used these to make some layouts and thought I'd share them with you. I had the layouts I made with this kit printed the other weekend when Persnickety had their sale and they look so good printed out!

I'm still not getting much sleep, but I did catch up on it some this past weekend. I slept most of the day Saturday, then Sunday I got up really early and was able to go to sleep around 2am. That's good for me..lol.

I received my Bamboo tablet Saturday and I'm loving it. It's taking some time to get adjusted to it, but I'm having fun playing with it. I've also been playing around in Adobe Illustrator, that is one hard program to learn, I don't really like it all that much. I'm trying out another vector program (can't remember the name), that someone recommended to me and it does the same things that AI does, but it is so much more user friendly, and it's way faster the AI. I'll probably wind up buying the other program, it's a few hundred dollars cheaper also. I love playing around with new programs and tools, it gives me something to do when I can't sleep:)

I'm so happy that today is Friday. I think I'm going to sleep the whole weekend. I've had insomnia bad this week. I usually stay up late, but this week I haven't been able to fall asleep until around 4am every morning. Then I have to get up and get Bella to school, and I don't want to go back to bed and sleep all day so I've been staying up and hoping that I would be able to go to sleep at a decent hour. But all that's done is make me feel groggy and fuzzy brained, and night rolls around and I still can't go to sleep. I've dealt with insomnia since I was a kid. I've always been a night owl, but there are times where I just can't sleep no matter what. I have sleeping pills the Dr. gave me, they don't work. School is out in a couple weeks so it won't be so bad, then I won't have to get up in the mornings.

Do you Bamboo?

I finally ordered me a Wacom Bamboo tablet tonight. I've been wanting one forever, but every time I went to purchase one, I'd change my mind and not order it. I'd find something else to buy for the house or Bella instead. I got a bunch of Amazon gift codes from doing surveys today, so I ordered one before I could think of something else to buy :) I had enough gift codes to get it free, so I feel even better about it :)

I can't wait until it gets here so I can play. I'm not a artist at all, I can barely draw a stick figure, but doing anything in photoshop with my mouse is torturous. Hopefully working with a pen tab. will be easier. Bella loves to draw so she'll get a lot of use out of it too. I'm probably going to have to hide it from my hubby though, he can draw awesomely good and I can just see him taking over my Bamboo. On second thought, I might just put him to work drawing me some things..lol.

So, do you own a Bamboo tablet? If so, how do you like it? Have any tips you want to share with me?

I am working on 4 different projects right now, so hopefully soon I'll have enough of one done to share. Bella is taking state exams at school this week, then Friday is field day, and next week she has try outs for volley ball, then she has semester finals, so I'm going to be very busy the next few weeks. Oh, and my step son and his family are coming sometime in the next couple weeks... Gosh, that makes me tired just thinking about it.

Monday Morning

The weekend went by too fast. I did not want to get out of bed this morning. I think it's going to talk a gallon of coffee to get me going. I have so much to do today, and I don't feel like doing any of it.

I had a great Mother's Day weekend, I hope you did too. Yesterday, my son came over and took me to dinner. It was great to be able to spend some one on one time with him. I don't see him much since he moved out.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day! I hope you have a wonderful day today!

I got my Mother's Day gifts a day early. Bella gave me the cutest, funniest card. My hubby cooked me a steak and shrimp dinner, and I got a chocolate cake topped with whipped cream and crumbled Resse's peanut butter cups. It was delicious.

Today I have a set of 4x6 brag book pages for you. Bella made a few of them and I made the rest. I love making 4x6 sized layouts. I gave Bella a Cannon Selphy portable printer for Christmas and she has so much fun with it. That printer prints better than any of those print stations at the stores.

National Digital Scrapbook Day...Lots of Shopping :)

Has everyone been shopping all the great sales that's going on for NDSD? I think my credit card is still smoking..lol. There are some awesome deals in the digiscrap stores this weekend. I hit several stores today and loaded up on actions, styles and commercial use products.

Those of you that love Atomic Cupcake as much as I do, she's having a sale on her bundle credits again. You can get 20 download credits for $35 or 50 credits for 62.50. And she's added 2 more freebies in addition to the monthly freebie. I think I have just about every one of her actions. I use them all the time.

Also, for those of you that need to get some layouts printed, Persnickety Prints is having a great NDSD sale. I spent what time I wasn't store hopping today getting some layouts done and uploaded to print. I ♥ Pernickety, they are the best place I've found to print my layouts. I'm always blown away by the quality, and I love seeing my designs printed.

So today has been a great day of shopping, and if my hubby happens to look at my checking acct. I plan on telling him it was my Mothers Day present...Can't argue with that, and I saved a ton of money too:)

Finally...

Gosh, it's been a long time since I've been able to get on here. Life has really been busy for me since Christmas. So much has been going on I haven't had the time to do anything.

One of the things that's happened since I last talked to you... I found out I'm going to be a Grandma! My son and his girlfriend are expecting a baby. I can't believe I'm going to be a G-Ma! Seems like just yesterday my son was a little boy. Now he's all grown up and going to be a Daddy. I'm happy and sad at the same time. He moved out of my house the other week and moved in with his girlfriend. But I'm happy about being a g-ma. I miss having a baby, and it's great that I'll be able to spoil it and send it home..lol.

I have a ton of stuff I've been working on designing. Thing is, they are all just bits and pieces of things that I've used in my personal pages and pages I've designed for friends. I haven't really designed any "kits", that's not really how I work anyway. I design around whatever pictures I'm working on and share what I design with you all. I have a ton of stuff started, but not much finished.

I do have something to share with you today though. I've been working on some spring pages and Mother's day stuff so I decided to put them together and make a "kit" for you all. I'm in the process of getting everything together and uploaded and should be done in the next day or so. It really takes a lot of time to rename all my files, make previews, zip them, and upload them! I feel like it takes longer to do that than it does to design them.

There are a lot of elements that are not shown, mostly variations of what's in the preview. The colors looked a little bright to me, but I printed out everything to make sure and they are beautiful printed!

Long Time....

WOW....It's been a long time since I've blogged! Christmas Eve to be exact. I've been so busy with life that designing and blogging is something that I don't have time to do anymore.

I got to play around in photoshop for a few minutes today and started designing a few paper and elements. I made a new background for my blog. I've deleted all of my old blog posts and downloads and will start over fresh when I have time to do a little more. (Thanks to those that have taken time to write me and left me thanks for downloading!) Hopefully I'll have a couple of things available to download soon. I have some stuff that I designed a while back that I need to get uploaded, again it's just a matter of having time to do it!

Anyway, I hope you all are doing well and I hope to have something for you soon!
